Gallery Academia and the famed Davis staue carved by Michelangelo. The real David statue is at Accademia gallery, Via Ricasoli 58-60, 50122, Florence. There are two ways to see it. One is to make reservations for a particular time and date. This will help you avoid the ever-present lines. The other way is to show up whenever you want and pay about 30Euros to the "guides" that are milling around outside. They will take you in and nearly straight to the David. Downside is you don't get much info about anything else in the museum.
